This year's event at Ontario Place drew the largest crowd ever. "The award's banquet just keeps getting better and better," said Rowing Canada Aviron President Dr. Michael Murphy. It was presented to Andrew Lamont of the Winnipeg Rowing Club, for his long-time involvement with RCA as past president of the Manitoba Rowing Association, and also for his achievements as a competitive athlete and advocate of rowing. |
