TC10K Social Media Tracking Service Now Available


TC10K 2012Victoria, BC (ISN) - The TC10K social media tracking service was launched today. The free service will enable runners and walkers to have their time and placing transmitted to their Facebook or Twitter page during the race. The TC10K takes place on Sunday April 29.

Deschiffart and Van Veelen Grab Top Spots in Sooke 10K


frontrunnerslogoVictoria, BC (ISN) - The eighth and last race in the Frontrunners Island Race Series – Sooke 10K – took place yesterday, Sunday, April 15. The race, which was hosted by the Island Road Racers Club, had 352 finishers. The race was followed by the year-end awards for the entire series.

Canadian women fourth, men ninth at FISU World Cross-country Championship

vikes watv_logoPoland (ISN) - The Canadian team of 11 CIS cross-country runners raced Saturday April 14, in Poland at the 2012 FISU World Cross-country Championship. Led by UVic cross-country and track coach Keith Butler, the Canadian women finished fourth overall, while the men finished in ninth.

"Goddess Run" Comes to Victoria
