Victoria, BC – February 20, 2012 (ISN) - The third race in the Frontrunners Island Race Series – Hatley Castle 8K – took place on Sunday, February 19. The race, which was organized by Frontrunners Athletic Club, saw 405 finishers, including winner James Lander.
CANMORE, Alta.—The nation's top biathletes have returned to Canada to defend their home snow as Biathlon Canada hosts IBU Cup 6-7 at the Canmore Nordic Centre, February 8-16. 
The TC10K has announced that five charities will be partnering with the race this year, which takes place on April 29. 
The second race in the Frontrunners Island Race Series – the Cedar 12K – took place on Sunday, February 5, with Simon Whitfield winning in 37:36, just two seconds ahead of James Lander.
Twenty charities will be participating in the 2012 Times Colonist Charity Pledge Program.
