Victoria (ISN) - The Vancouver Island High School Track and Field Championships kicked off Wednesday at UVic, with Victoria's Oak Bay High looking to secure their 21st Island Championship in a row.
Victoria (ISN) - It was a basketball lover's dream as three out of the four separate high school basketball championships happening this weekend in Victoria tipped off Thursday.
The Woodland Eagles knew heading to Barsby for Junior Boys Basketball, it could be rough, as Barsby had a 4 game winning streak coming into the game, and that seemed to show throughout the first.
As soon as the ball was in play, we knew it was going to be a good game.
As tempatures hit below the freezing mark at John Barsby School, however the players inside were on fire.
