Victoria (ISN) - The Vancouver Island High School Track and Field Championships kicked off Wednesday at UVic, with Victoria's Oak Bay High looking to secure their 21st Island Championship in a row.
Duncan, BC (ISN) - The Oak Bay Bays defeated the Belmont Bulldogs 68-60 to win the Vancouver Island "AAA" Boys Basketball Championship on Saturday. Both teams advance to the "AAA" Provincials, along with the Mt. Doug Rams who defeated Cowichan 54-51 in the third place game.
It was a clean sweep Thursday for all four Victoria teams in quarter-final action at the Vancouver Island "AAA" Boys Basketball Championships being held at Cowichan Secondary School in Duncan.
