Saskatchewan’s Heenan selected first overall
OTTAWA (ISN) – Ben Heenan, an offensive lineman from the University of Saskatchewan, became the sixth CIS player in as many years – and the 10th in the past 13 years - to be selected first overall in the CFL Canadian Draft when the Saskatchewan Roughriders called his name at No. 1, on Thursday.

Redmen return to final despite loss

Moncton Dominates Huskies in CIS Hockey

(ISN) – The Moncton Aigles Bleus kept their gold medal hopes alive at the 50th CIS men's hockey championship thanks to a dominating 5-1 victory over the Saskatchewan Huskies in their second and final pool play contest, Friday afternoon, in front of a capacity crowd 3,750 at the University of New Brunswick's Aitken Centre.
