The Mariners used a 9 run 5th inning to defeat the host Eagles 9-0.
September 17, 2010, Seattle, WA: The Seattle Mariner's Ichiro Suzuki leaves the batter's box en route to a bunt single in a game against the Texas Rangers in American League action at Safeco Field in Seattle. The Mariners would use a stellar 3 hit performance from Felix Hernandez to take a 2-1 victory.
October 15, 2010, Victoria, BC - Saanich's Gavin Kirk, takes a right to the chin in a fight with Oceanside's Ryan Heathfield in Vancouver Island Junior B Hockey League action at Pearkes Arena. The Generals would notch three power play goals en route to a 6-1victory.

The teams would battle to a 2-2 tie through overtime and then the Thunder would win 3-2 in a shootout.

November 10, 2010, Victoria, BC - Oak Bay's Jaymie Tucker makes a move around Eric Hamber's Wendy Yu during the during the 2010 BC "AAA" High School Field Hockey Championships held November 10-12 at UVIC. Oak Bay would have the best finish of all the Island teams, placing 4th in the 16 team tournament.

Byrne would leave the game with the injury however the Eagles swept both games from the Cannons by scores of 4-2 and 4-1.
